Bio

As a student at Hilltop High School in Chula Vista, California, Sue-Ellen Dominiak participated in Volleyball, basketball, and softball, graduating in 1987.

At Southwestern College (SWC) she was an outstanding pitcher earning numerous awards and setting college records for her performance. She holds the SWC season record with 154 strikeouts and 17 pitching wins. Her two-year career stats have never been challenge with 244 total strikeouts and 27 wins. In addition to all Pacific Coast Conference honors, Sue-Ellen was selected Chula Vista Star-News Athlete of the Week for March 7, 1988 after she pitched a perfect game against Grossmont College.

Upon graduation from Southwestern, Sue-Ellen attended Humbolt State University from 1989-1991. She again earned accolades as a pitcher. She named to the Greater Northwest Athletic Conference First Team in 1991 in 1991 and was also selected to the NCAA National All-Star Team. At Humbolt State University, she holds the NCAA records for the must shutouts, most saves, the lowest ERA, the most strikeouts, and the most completed games. Deservedly, she has been honored and inducted into the Humbolt State University Hall of Fame.

Sue-Ellen received her teaching credential from National University, San Diego after graduating from HSU. She taught school in Chula Vista, but then moved to Boise, Ohio. She is currently raising her three children, passing on her love of sports by coaching their teams.
