Seven Jaguars sign basketball scholarships

Coming off a 25-5 conference championship season, the success did not end there for the men's basketball team. Seven players for the team inked their letters of intent to University's to continue their playing careers.

The first was All-Conference performer Jordan Cooke. Cooke inked his letter of intent to play for Division 1 Sacramento State in the Big Sky Conference. Cooke averaged 10 points and 8 rebounds last season as a freshman and decided on Sac State over a handful of other schools.

Kevin Eason was our 2nd signee who chose Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Kevin was a key player in leading the Jags to a conference championship with his grit, hustle, and leadership.

Quincy Ferebee was a two-time All PCAC performer who signed his scholarship with Division 1 University of Portland in the West Coast Conference. Terry Porter is the head coach who is an NBA legend and has his jersey retired by the Portland Trailblazers.

Our 4th signee, Jose Serrano inked his LOI with Eastern New Mexico and head coach Tres Segler. Jose was a first team all PCAC performer his freshman year and conference champion his sophomore season.

Marc Combs will continue his career locally at San Diego Christian University. Combs left his mark in only one season with the Jags and was a big piece of last year's successful season.

DJ Wilson was our 6th signee who chose Master's University. DJ was a two time all PCAC performer and will look to lead the Mustangs in the GSAC Conference.

Our final signee Tyler Simmons will continue his playing career at Cal State San Bernardino. Tyler transferred to SWC as a sophomore and made his presence felt right away by helping lead the Jags to a PCAC title.
