Correia awarded Southwestern's Female Academic Athlete of the Year

Nicole Correia who hails from Point Loma HS has recently been awarded the Southwestern College Athletics Female Academic Athlete of the Year.  During the 2017/2018 season Nicole earned a 3.92 GPA with 53 units completed which is the leading number for all female athletes who competed last season.  During that time frame Correia hit .372 BA with 35 RBIs, 7 HR, 7 doubles, and a .982 Fielding percentage at 1B.  Correia ranks in multiple offensive top 10 categories for Southwestern Softball and continued her collegiate career at New Mexico Highlands.
