Bio

Coach Simmons finished her Bachelors degree at CSU, Monterey Bay in Kinesiology and a concentration in Wellness. Before that she finished her softball career at Chowan University in Murfreesboro, North Carolina where Katrina transferred in the fall of 2015 starting her junior year. At Chowan Katrina was named second team all team for both 2016 and 2017. While playing her last year at Chowan they won the conference championship where they competed in the division 2 NCAA Atlantic Regionals. Katrina's collegiate career started at Southwestern College in 2014 and 2015. At Southwestern Simmons was named PCAC second team in 2014.
