" The women's soccer team continues to build every game and has won their first two league matches. Defeating Cuyamaca college 2-1 and San Diego city 3-0. It has been a team effort lead by sophomore Chloe Sauls and freshman Vanessa Fernandez. The Jaguars have put in an incredible amount of work and effort to unite and enhance their chemistry on the field. This diverse and relentless group is in high spirits as they begin the season strong and focused. Hard work physically and mental focus is the foundation and key to this weeks success.
Both coaches, Carolina Soto and Jennifer Rodriguez are proud of the progress and the discipline that has been demonstrated thus far. Although the lady Jaguars earned two important wins this week, they know that the intensity and work ethic must continue to stay high. Humbled and enthusiastic with the beginning of league games, the lady Jaguars will continue to prepare daily to represent the mission of southwestern college athletics."
