Lady JAG Veronica Romero kicks ball to teammate

Our lady Jaguars continue to work on building team chemistry and preparing for their first league game on Friday vs. Grossmont College.  Currently the team has started the season with a 2-2-1 record.  Players such as Veronica Romero, Andrea Camacho and goal keeper Sharon Montoya have demonstrated tremendous leadership on the field.  Coach Carolina Soto is proud of their consistent effort and their ability to lead by example.  Sophomore Andrea Camacho is looking to play at the university level next season as she prepares to transfer.  Veronica Romero comes to Southwestern College with Division 1 soccer experience playing previously at Prairie View A & M University.  Freshman Sharon Montoya is the starting goalkeeper who comes from Castle Park High School.  Our diverse group continues to mesh together and perform at it's highest potential.  We look forward to giving it our best effort this Friday.  We look forward to your support!
