Ojeda chooses Westcliff University to continue her collegiate softball career

Natalia Ojeda, the starting catcher for Southwestern Softball will be transferring to Westcliff University to continue her academic and softball career. Westcliff located in Irvine, CA is coming off their 1st year in existence earning a bid in the 2022 Cal Pac Softball Tournament. ​Ojeda hails from Otay Ranch High School and had powerful performances in both seasons for the Jaguars. In the shortened 2020 season, Nat had dual roles at catcher, 3B, and 1B hitting .322 with a homerun, triple and 5 doubles in 19 games. In the 2022 season, Ojeda claimed the starting role at catcher and played all 37 games hitting .333 with a homerun, triple, and 8 doubles. Consistent in her performance, Ojeda was a wall behind home with only 2 pass balls. Natalie plans on majoring in Computer Science with a focus in Cyber Security.
