Women's Tennis, Anna Ilusorio named 2023 SODA recipient

Women's Tennis Team Athlete, Anna Ilusorio was named 2023 SODA (Student of Distinction Award) Recipient.  This is a truly well-deserved honor for one of Southwestern Colleges' hard working, dedicated, Committed, and focused Student Athletes on campus.

Focused not only on her Academic path; but also remarkedly committed to her success on the Court as a JAG Athlete.   Achieving a nearly 4.0 GPA her 2 years at SWC, and Phi Theta Kappa honor society member; but also 2 years as the Captain of the Lady Jaguar Tennis Team.  Showing leadership and work ethic to her fellow Teammates and inspiring them to reach higher for their own goals.

This dedication propelled Anna, to become #1 Singles and #1 Doubles for the 2023 Tennis Season.

April 26 and 27th, Anna will also be Representing Southwestern college women's tennis team at the Ojai/Southern Cal regional tournament, where she has earned an entry by her powerful performance as an athlete this season, this will be her second invite, 2022 Season, she also represented Lady Jaguars Tennis.

Anna will be graduating this Spring and Continuing on in the fall to Sonoma State University to finish her Academic Goals to be a teacher one day.

Southwestern College, Jaguar Athletics, and the Women's Tennis Team were honored to have been a part of the success of this young woman and are excited to see her Achieve even greater Accomplishments in her future. 

 Thank you, Anna, for being such a Force on the Women's Tennis Team....you will be missed greatly in 2024 Season.
