Amanda Shaw, reigning cccaa state champion in the women's triple jump

Be on the lookout for the reigning CCCAA State Champion in the women's triple jump and runner up in the women's long jump, Amanda Shaw. Shaw is a sophomore this year at Southwestern Community College. She is looking forward to a great season in hopes of improving her lift time marks from last year with 5.69m in the long jump and 11.91m in the triple jump. Head Coach Toni Smith is confident in her ability but hopes to stay healthy and execute when the time permits. Coach Smith is also approaching her first year as the newest head coach here at SWC. We would like to congratulate her on this new position.
