The Jags arrived at Long Beach City College's Viking Invite on March 8th, 2024, greeted by the warmth of bright, sunny weather. The day kicked off with an impressive performance in the Men's long jump, as Gabriel Dagnino soared to a personal best of 6.64 meters, securing first place, closely followed

by Jaden Rucker, who claimed second with a mark of 6.60 meters. Clara Philips made her debut in the Women's long jump, showcasing her talent with a leap of 4.42 meters, earning her a respectable fifth place. In the women's 1500-meter run, Illya Rangel demonstrated her skill, finishing third in her

heat. Meanwhile, Brandon Guerrero put up a strong performance on  the men's side, securing fourth place with a time of 4:30:35. Dante Pacheco shined in the men's 100-meter dash, achieving a personal best time of 11.74 and winning his heat. Justin Rogers also delivered a solid performance, securing

second place in his heat with a time of 12.44. Clara Phillips returned for the women's 200-meter dash, dominating her heat with a swift time of 29.72. Serena Williams made her debut in the women's high jump, impressively tying for first place with a height of 1.32 meters. In the men's triple jump, Jaden

Rucker showcased his skills, clinching first place with a remarkable mark of 14.02 meters, while Gabriel Dagnino followed closely behind in third place with a mark of 12.42 meters.

With their outstanding performances behind them, the Jags now set their sights on the San Marcos Invitational on March 22, 2024
